Settlement Counselling and Immigration Services

These services are provided by

• Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration

Newcomer Settlement Program assists newcomers to get help with housing, education, employment and any other information you need. Also assists with the immigration processes and forms.

Many newcomers move to Welland due to the excellent reputation of our settlement services and outreach programs.

Our onsite emergency shelter provides a warm welcome and safe haven to people who have travelled a long way. We take a compassionate and humanitarian approach to help those in need.

Our employment program offers many services to help you be successful in the workforce. We have expertise in assisting newcomer professionals access the information they need to gain access to their own profession in Canada.

Translation Services

Our settlement councillors speak French, Shona, Spanish, Portuguese, as well as English. We have access to  many cultural organizations for interpreting with most languages.
