Settlement Counselling and Immigration Services

The 24 hour service allows us to be accessible at any time and works very well for the Immigration office at the border and to be accessible to clients in emergencies. Contacts have been set up with organizations to aid us in supplying food and transportation for clients when required.

These services are provided by:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Through the Immigrant Settlement and Adaptation Program (ISAP)
Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration
Through the Newcomer Settlement Program (NSP)

Many newcomers move to Welland due to our the excellent reputation of our settlement services and outreach programs.

Our onsite emergency shelter provides a warm welcome and safe haven to people who have travelled a long way. We take a compassionate and humanitarian approach to help those in need.

Our in-house employment program has also created a huge interest with people that are looking for a place to settle.

Translation Services
Our settlement councillors speak French, Shona, Spanish, Portuguese, as well as English.
